Product Information

The true color of Asparagus or Evergreen tree.If using this color as a final dip , for the best coverage, I suggest washing the egg in Ivory Dish Detergent, a quick dip in vinegar then the final dip of color. This is also a great 'helper' color for black. when your black is giving you trouble taking dark, give your egg a dip in Asparagus first, then dip into black dye.

My go-to green

I love this color. I've used it diluted, as well as in a quick dip, a normal dip, and a very long dip to get varying shades of a grown-up green that all work well together. If you are having trouble getting black dye to stick on your egg, try dyeing it with Asparagus first. It often helps! (Feb 20 2017, 03:40 am)

A Must Have Color

Asparagus is a lovely green on its own, but is amazing beyond that, too. It's a great darker green to offset Key Lime, will take a variety of shades depending on how long you leave the egg in the dye, and is absolutely the best color to make your blacks take even smoother and deeper. It's also a color that will often take on problematic shells. Looks especially great with Marigold and with both Lilac and Grape, too. (Jan 29 2017, 23:09 pm)
